Nidec’s electric motor technology will be integrated with Waukesha engine solutions
INNIO’s Waukesha Gas Engines and Nidec Conversion announced a technology collaboration that integrates Nidec’s high-efficiency electric motor technology with Waukesha’s engine solutions.
The companies said the agreement combines over 100 years of INNIO Group’s Waukesha expertise in the upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors with Nidec’s century-long experience in electric motor technology. With this collaboration, INNIO Group’s Waukesha brand underlines its commitment to helping its customers build a powerful future through innovative technology that meets today’s energy demands with low-emission products.
INNIO Group’s Waukesha team has extensive experience in engineering, designing, and producing reliable energy solutions for upstream, midstream, and downstream production applications.
Nidec’s technology includes specific electric motor offerings, variable frequency drives, and related components for gas compression applications as follows:
