APS appoints sales manager

Access Platform Sales has appointed experienced powered access professional Tony Campana to be its new regional sales manager for the north of England.

Since summer of 2024, Campana has been responsible for low level platforms and material lifts sales and support at UK-based APS, which is the authorised distributor in the UK and Ireland for Hinowa products. It also supplies platforms and materials handling equipment manufactured by LGMG, BoSS and Genie.

Previously Campana was a CAP assessor for IPAF and before that worked for UK distributor Workplatform. In his new role at APS, he will lead sales across all brands in the North West, plus Yorkshire, Durham, and Tyne and Wear, as well as in North Wales and counties as far south as Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire and Shropshire.

Seasoned professional

Hannah Treggalles, Internal Sales and Marketing Director at APS, said, “Tony is a seasoned access platforms industry professional, so we’re pleased he is taking on this role to support all APS’s high quality brands across a large part of the north of England.

“As with all members of our sales team, Tony believes strongly in providing expert long-term support for our customers, so they get maximum advantage from their equipment and our service reinforces their business development and growth strategies.”

As well as carrying out his new regional sales duties, Campana will continue to provide national sales support for APS’s range of Wienold Lifte materials lifts.

He said, “I’m delighted to take on this extended role on behalf of APS and our customers. I’ve worked in access sales and after sales support across major brands for 20 years and will bring all that experience to bear to assist APS customers.

“Our after-sales service is also second to none – I’m looking forward to providing for our extensive customer base across the north of England, and the many new customers I’m keen to bring on board.”
