HMT AG has taken delivery of a spider lift and truck mounted platform
Swiss rental company HMT AG has taken delivery of a spider and truck mount pair from Socage.
The 18m Raptor Spider lift arrived at the rental compant last November, with the 20m double-articulated platform delivered on a 3.5 tonne self drive truck in June this year.

With an 18m working height the 18S Raptor has a basket capacity of 230kg at 8.2m lateral outreach, a diesel engine, non-marking rubber track and radio control.
The 20m working height 20D Speed is on a 3.5 tonne Iveco Daily with narrow jacking and up to 300kg basket load and reach up to 8.7m, along with frontal basket attachment without substructure.
As standard the Socage models come with automatic stabilization, home and telemetric functions giving HMT access to manuals, spare parts and service requests via the Mysocage portal.
Options such as GPS location, geofencing, calendar functions, switching off rotation over the vehicle cabin, shutdown of the lift functions remotely, as well as remote maintenance via Socage Customer Service complete the delivery package.
The device status, stabilizers and platform position, alarms and error messages on the diagnostic display, are shown online in the Mysocage portal via a simple graphics using the telemetric system installed as a standard .
QR codes on the control panels and in the driver’s cab direct the operator to the Socage Academy Channel. Short video tutorials provide simple instructions on the machine controls in the main European languages.
