Bobcat expands small loader attachments range

Bobcat has expanded its range of attachments for small articulated loaders, with the addition of two new BrushcatTM rotary cutter models and a new log grapple attachment.
Designed for use with the L23 and L28 small articulated loaders, the Brushcat attachments have cutting widths of 1,118mm (44 inches) and 1,372mm (54 inches) respectively, and are the smallest of Bobcat’s rotary cutter range.
The models, which are suitable for use in the construction, agriculture, forestry and municipality sectors, can cut through tough grass and brush, while mulching small branches and saplings up to 5cm in diameter.
Key features include double-edged heavy duty blades for increased blade life and a high-powered direct-drive motor that enables the attachment to cut and mulch thick vegetation in a single pass.
Like the Brushcut attachments, which can also pass through gates and other narrow spaces, Bobcat’s new log grapple is also compatible with the L23 and L28 small articulated loaders models, but can also be used with the MT100 mini track loader.
Designed to clean up after cutting or trimming trees and bushes, the log grapple can be used for cleaning and recycling tasks such as discarding or collecting branches and logs.
“The log grapple attachment also has reinforced tines, which with the heavy-duty teeth provides outstanding grip when managing unwieldy logs and brush,” said Bobcat.
“Rope bollards provide an additional anchor point, assisting in stability while at work. For increased operator control, the log grapple comes with an integrated tree pusher, ensuring material falls in the intended direction, allowing the operator to accomplish multiple tasks with the same attachment.”
