Sunbelt Rentals UK is growing its climate control business with the move to a larger facility in Armadale, Scotland.

Located just three miles from the existing Bathgate depot, Sunbelt says the move to the “new and improved” location is a milestone for the climate control division and comes after continued growth in the region.

The company said the 6000sqft depot will enable it to have a greater fleet holding of its cooling, heating and dehumidification products in the local area.

It will also act as a regional hub for the company’s air quality control equipment, which includes dust suppression, containment and air purification systems.

Sunbelt adds that the move means customers local to the depot will benefit from “quick and easy” access to equipment and enhanced customer services, while allowing it to improve operational efficiencies and support its drive towards a sustinable work environment.

The new depot is the latest that Sunbelt has opened in Scotland in recent months. In July the company invested in a new depot in Inverness, which holds a range of plant, tools, powered access, utilities, and traffic management equipment.
