US-based Allen Engineering unveiled its latest range of walk-behind power trowels at World of Concrete 2012, which took place at the Las Vegas Convention Centre at the end of January.

The new VP (Value Priced) economy range of walk-behind trowels comes in two sizes - the VP436 with a 36" (91 cm) rotor and the VP446 with a 46" (117 cm) rotor.

The Allen VP series features height adjustable handles with either traditional twist-action blade pitch control, or the lever-action positive pitch control. The VP series also features cast iron spiders, pressure plates and lift levers along with lifting bars.

Each VP series walk-behind trowel is powered by a Honda engine and comes with 36" (91 cm) or 46" (117 cm) rotors, which can achieve a rotor speed of up to 150 rpm.
