Entries for the 2025 European Rental Awards are now open. Companies have until Friday 28 February 2025 to submit entries.
Award judging criteria and the online entry form can be found at https://eurorentalawards.com/. Entry forms can also be downloaded at the bottom of this page.
In total, eight awards will be up for grabs next year, including a new category on the ‘Best Safety Initiative by a Rental Company’.
The award will assess an occupational health and safety initiative or programme implemented by a rental company in late 2023 and/or 2024.
2025 European Rental Awards categories in full:
Large Rental Company of the Year (revenues more than €15 million)
Small Rental Company of the Year (revenues less than €15 million)
Best Safety Initiative by a Rental Company
Rental Product of the Year
Rental Person of the Year
Lifetime Achievement Award
ERA Sustainability Committee Award: Best Sustainability Initiative by a Rental Company
ERA Technical Committee Award: Best initiative to minimise the Total Cost of Ownership
The judges will look for innovative initiatives that effectively minimize the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) in the rental industry. Examples include reducing maintenance costs, saving time for end users, extending equipment lifespan, or improving energy efficiency. Applications should demonstrate measurable impact, implementation details, and how the initiative contributes to minimising the TCO.

The awards, jointly organised by International Rental News and the European Rental Association, will be held on 4 June in Dublin, Ireland, during the ERA’s annual convention (4-5 June).
The judging meeting will be held on 25 March, with the award shortlists announced shortly after that. The judges, plus the non-voting chair, are:
- Stéphane Hénon (ERA president and Loxam managing director)
- Jon Overman (HSS Hire Shops CEO)
- Murray Pollok (IRN managing editor)
- Monika Rubensson (Rentalföretagen CEO, Swedish association)
- Frank Seidler (HKL managing director)
- Non-voting chair: Michel Petitjean (ERA secretary general)
