What will be on the Himoinsa stand at Bauma?
13 February 2025

Spain-based generator and lighting tower manufacturer has said it will show its full product range at Bauma in April.
Describing its portfolio as a one stop shop to the construction, mining and rental industries, the company said it will introduce new electronic control systems designed for remote monitoring and equipment management.
The CE8 family of controllers, including the CEM8 and CEA8 models, will be launched at Bauma. These systems integrate with the HG Web platform, allowing users to track performance metrics such as fuel levels and battery status, adjust parameters remotely, and receive alerts in case of faults.
Smart control technology is also central to Himoinsa’s battery storage systems, with the HICORE control unit enabling advanced energy management. This supports the company’s roadmap toward electrification and hybrid solutions.
Generators
Making up its generator lineup, the company sais it will showcase its Stage V-compliant generators, designed for reduced emissions and improved efficiency. These units, ranging from 17kVA to 550 kVA, incorporate gas after-treatment systems to lower nitrogen oxide (NOx) and particulate emissions. They are also certified to operate with hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) fuel.
The company will also present the HGY series of large-scale generator sets, with power outputs from 1250kVA to 4000kVA. Powered by Yanmar engines, the units are designed for continuous operation in sectors such as construction, mining, and events.
The HGY-2600 D5 model, which will be on display, features a common rail fuel injection system for improved efficiency and compliance with DEFRA emissions regulations.
Battery storage systems and lighting towers
Himoinsa will introduce the new EHR 90/130 battery power generator, an energy storage and distribution system that increases storage capacity to 130kWh. The system can operate independently or integrate with gas and diesel generators to reduce runtime and emissions. It is also designed to connect to the grid or solar panels.
Visitors will also see the full range of EHR models, including the 45/60 and 45/90, which can be used for applications such as powering construction equipment or recharging electric machinery.
Its range of diesel and hybrid lighting towers, including the HBOX+, HBOX+ Hybrid, and HCOMPACT+ models, will also be on display.
The units feature LED technology, long service intervals, and connectivity options for remote management.
Available in both mobile and static configurations, the lighting towers are designed for low emissions and noise levels, making them suitable for use in events and residential areas.
Alongside Himoinsa, the company’s parent firm, Yanmar, will introduce a prototype hydrogen engine for off-road applications at Bauma. Himoinsa is also advancing its electrification strategy, with plans to develop battery storage systems with capacities of up to 2MW as part of the Yanmar Green Challenge 2050 initiative.
Francisco Gracia, president and CEO of Himoinsa, said,“In recent years, we have restructured the company to achieve a stronger presence in the construction, mining and rental industries, through our Mobile Power division, with three distinct product lines; generator sets, lighting towers and battery systems, and a strong investment in R&D, for the constant uptake of advanced technologies. We are an integral partner of mobile power solutions for companies looking for efficiency and safety in their fleets.”
