MCS launches QR code functionality

UK-based software specialist MCS Rental Software has added a QR code scanning feature to its offering.

The Berkshire-headquartered company said the feature enables its customers to affix a unique QR code on any equipment piece.

The code can then be used to offer rental customers immediate access to a range of information, including user manuals, certificates and other relevant data.

In addition, the company said it has ensured that the new feature empowers the end-user and promotes brand consistency for rental companies.

The stored information accessed via the QR code can be customised to include company branding, ensuring that every interaction a customer has with the rental equipment strengthens the brand image.
