Finnish renter first to order 70m Bronto

JaloBMS will be the first rental company to take delivery of Bronto Skylift’s new 70m working height new generation S70XT1-J presented at Bauma last week. 

The Finland-based truck mount specialist, owned by parent company Jalo & Jalo, has ordered two units, both of which are scheduled for delivery in 2026.

The new XT range is a combination of all the the best parts of Bronto’s XDT and XR ranges, with a range of upgrades said Arne Denks, the company’s Product Manager. “All the improvements in the XT are built on decades of product development and close collaboration with our customers.”

The S70XT1-J features a 39m maximum outreach with 120kg capacity, and 33.2 meters with the full 600kg maximum cage load.

New features

Among a range of other features, the rigidity of the boom structure has been increased. It includes a three-section cage boom providing 24m of up and over reach – almost 10m more than the older generations.

The cage load sensor is more accurate and robust, while new outrigger sensors are integrated to hydraulic cylinders and overall placement of sensors have been re-considered for added reliability.

Functionality is improved with a modular cage structure offering different openings and railings. There are five platform capacity options, alongside the pre-existing Bronto+ control system providing smooth movements and reliable outreach regardless of weather conditions.
