FIT Global and Wolff & Müller partner to “modernise equipment management”

Netherlands-headquartered software provider FIT Global has announced a partnership with Wolff & Müller that will see it replace the existing SAP ETM (Equipment and Tools Management) system operated by the German construction company with its FIT-Rent platform.

With the move, which will see Wolff & Müller transition to SAP R3 ECC to FIT Global’s advanced SAP S/4HANA-based equipment rental management solution, FITGlobal said it aims to simplify and modernise the equipment and material management processes.

It said that by integrating FIT-Rent, the company will gain access to tools designed to streamline rental management, increase operational efficiency and improve on-site equipment and tools availability.

Key features include automations in fleet management, individual asset P&L insights, and site request digitalisation. It expects the functions to optimise equipment and material utilisation, reduce costs and enhance visibility across operations.

The implementation of FIT-Rent will also provide Wolff & Müller with a platform for managing equipment lifecycles from acquisition to disposal, FITGlobal added, and will enable better management of rental and return processes as well as improve equipment and material availability across multiple sites.
