UK Tool Hire makes access acquisition

UK Tool Hire Group has announced the acquisition of Warren Access.

Founded in 1993, Warren Access operates in the North East and South East of England and specialises in powered access hire and training.

The deal, which was finalised at the end of 2024, will complement UK Tool Hire’s presence in the East and West Midlands, where it provides powered access and tool hire, along with training services.  

The company added that the acquisition broadens its network of locations, enhancing its capacity to meet growing customer demand. Additionally, the new Newcastle upon Tyne location provides a gateway to the North East, unlocking ‘exciting growth opportunities for the group.’

Shared benefits 

Both companies share a family-owned heritage, while Warren Access’ said its customer base is set to benefit from increased fleet investment. Meanwhile, owners Graeme and Michelle Warren will step away from the powered access industry to explore new ventures abroad, confident that the business will thrive under its new ownership, they said.

New chapter

Warren Access will continue to operate under its current name to allow continuity for customers while benefiting from the expanded equipment and services offered by UK Tool Hire Group.
