Celebrating its centenary year under the theme ‘The Next 100 Years’, Caterpillar is set to show a wide range of new equipment, tech, power options and related services at Bauma 2025, which will be held in Munich, Germany from April 7-13.

The Caterpillar stand will feature a total of 48 machines, including 17 new or upgraded models. There will be examples from the battery-electric lineup, the Next Generation platform range and new additions to the Demolition, Waste Handling and Recycling portfolios.

“We are excited to be returning to Bauma this April,” said Tony Fassino, Caterpillar Construction Industries group president.

He continued: “What we will show will be a fitting tribute to our heritage while demonstrating our commitment to building a safer, smarter and more sustainable world with our customers and dealers for the next 100 years. Alternative power sources, reduced carbon options, and integrated technologies are the future, and Caterpillar is ready to deliver this in collaboration with our global dealer network.”

The Cat Performance Centre will show a series of solutions intended to improve jobsite performance, highlighting how updating machine fleets can reduced fuel usage and greenhouse gas emissions.

Machines in this area will include the battery-electric 301.9 mini hydraulic excavator and 906 compact wheel loader. These will be joined by the latest 320 and 950 GC prototypes. Along with watching how the machines work, visitors will be able to experience an electrified jobsite simulation based on data and energy consumption figures from real-world customers.

Along with these compact machines, Caterpillar will show three new Next Generation compact track loaders. These now offer more engine power and torque, together with a series of new tech features.

This lineup will include the new D8 dozer, which will be joined by MH3032 material handler, now offering a series of features to support working in scrap yards. Also on display will be the prototype 140 AWD Next Generation motor grader, which will replace machines previously based on two different platforms.

From the Demolition, Waste Handling and Recycling machines ranges, Caterpillar will also show the new 330 UHD Ultra High Demolition hydraulic excavator.

Other machines at Bauma will include two M323 Next Generation wheeled excavators configured specifically for the railroad industry. There will also be a new prototype Cat 775 off-highway truck, together with the reintroduced 395 front shovel.

At Bauma, Caterpillar can be located in Hall B6.
