Nikken starts renting electric mini excavator

Japanese rental company Nikken has started to rent Bobcat’s E10e electric mini excavator.

The company announced in late December that the machine would be availabale for rent from early January this year, and said it would benefit customers by offering a machine for urban construction, suitable for indoor work or where noise is a consideration.

Nikken said the machine can be charged overnight with a 100V charger or in two hours with 200V charging system.  It said the machine will operate for between 2 and 4 hours on a full charge, depending on application.

“The Nikken Rental Group will continue to promote sustainable development by introducing environmentally friendly products through rentals”, said the company, “We will contribute to the realisation of a ‘recycling-oriented society’.”

Bobcat launched the E10e following the 2019 Bauma exhibition.
