Ground shoring specialist Groundforce said it was eyeing expansion opportunities in the Middle East and saw strong potential in region, where it is currently supporting the Doha metro project in Qatar.

“Having successfully established itself in mainland Europe, Groundforce is now looking at new markets and further expanding its reach in the Middle East,” the company said.

Groundforce, which is owned by UK equipment rental company Vp, added that it would be an associate sponsor at the 2015 Underground Infrastructure and Deep Foundations Summit in Doha, taking place from 31 May to 6 June.

Commercial director Colin Wilkins said, “The potential for expansion into these markets is a very exciting prospect for our business.

“This exhibition is the perfect platform for us to showcase our range of innovative products, together with our experience of working with major contractors to develop bespoke shoring solutions for large building projects.”
