Sunbelt Rentals raises £30,000 for UK charities

Equipment rental company Sunbelt Rentals UK and Ireland has raised £30,000 for charity at its inaugral Charity Golf Day.
The event, which was held at the JCB Golf and Country Club in Uttoxeter, England, saw customers, suppliers and Sunbelt employees take part in the competition, with all proceeds going to three UK charities.
According to Sunbelt, its donations to Carnytne & Riddrie Food Bank in Glasgow, which supplies essential food to those in the community, means the Food Bank can now expand its reach and provide food assistance to a greater number of people.
The Embassy Project, located in Manchester city centre, is another beneficiary of the funds. The charity provides a safe and inclusive environment for people experiencing homelessness and offers essential resources to help individuals integrate back into society.
Elsewhere, Sunbelt says the donations to London-based Coram’s Fields, a charity that offers a safe space and community services for children and young people, will help it enhance its offering and ensure a “safe space to support every child with the opportunity to thrive.”
Andy Wright, CEO of Sunbelt Rentals, said, “We’re incredibly proud to have raised £30,000 to support three of our charity partners. This achievement would not have been possible without the generous support and commitment from our colleagues, customers and suppliers on the day who helped us in transforming lives in the communities in which we live and work.
“Their compassion to support Our Planet and leave a lasting positive impact on both our communities and charity partners was clear throughout the event.”
