Kiloutou has announced record revenues for 2022, with turnover passing €1 billion for the first time in its history.

The company said the 28.4% increase in revenues was “driven by its ambitious growth strategy” which saw it expand into Denmark and Portugal with the acquisitions of GSV and Vendap, respectively, ensuring it is active in seven European countries.

Elswehere, the company also expanded its footprint in both France and Italy, buying portable accommodation rental company Jamart Location Modulaire in France and Italian general renter Aerotecnica.

Kiloutou said it will continue to increase its digital transformation, which it started in 2011, as it aims to “differentiate itself”. Part of this transformation has already seen the company launch its new e-commerce site for France.

Launched earlier this year, the site gives users access to product availability, pricing and content with the aim of helping them find the right product. The company says the decision to accelerate its digital transformation with projects like the e-commerce site is a lever for “short, medium and long-term economic performance.”

Vincent Ranaivoson, Kiloutou’s group chief transformation director told IRN last month that the “acceleration of the Kiloutou Group’s digital and multi-channel strategy can be seen in its unprecedented performance: in just three years, the turnover generated by the digital channel has increased tenfold.”

Kiloutou also confirmed that it plans to commit 35% of investments to low carbon equipment this year, as it reaffirms its commitment to accelerate the transition of its equipment fleet through a “proactive investment policy.”
