Johnson Arabia adds mini cranes

Middle East crane and access equipment company Johnson Arabia has added Maeda mini spider cranes to its rental fleet.

The fleet already numbers more than 250 mobile wheeled and crawler cranes and 700 aerial work platforms. Johnson operates across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and said it added the spider cranes in response to changing demand. Operations in construction, oil and gas and other related industries have changed, the company said.

There are six Maeda models in capacities from 1 to 8 tonnes. Lifting height is up to 25 metres and maximum working radius is 18 metres. Pick and carry capability makes these cranes a logical choice for customers who cover a wide range of applications, from construction work to natural resource development, the company said.
