Landsberg becomes Kwick Access shareholder

Access and crane rental industry veteran George Landsberg has joined South Africa-based Kwick Access Rentals as shareholder and chairman.

Landsberg has been in the industry in Southern Africa for the last thirty-plus years during which he established a range of successful companies, such as Johnson Access, Hi-Reach Manlift, Goscor Access Equipment and Goscor Access Rentals. The latter two later merged to become Goscor Access Solutions.

He has also distributed various brands in the market, mainly Genie, Snorkel, Teupen, ATN, Hybrid-Lifts and LGMG. In addition, Landsberg has been vice president of the Institute for Work at Height - the professional body of the South African work at height industry, and was recently honoured with life membership of the IWH. He currently serves as its Constitutional Chairman.

Kwick Access Rentals was founded in 2015 as the first female-owned and operated access rental business in South Africa, led by Stephanie and Andre Erasmus, which started focusing on the market specifically in 2019. 

Operating from Randburg to the west of Johannesburg, Kwik Access said that the inclusion of Landsberg on the board would possiby result in the company expanding its footprint at a later date.
