Zoomlion launches focus on Europe
07 April 2025
Zoomlion is launching a range of boom lifts, including large electric and hybrid models, a spider lift and telehandlers, all with a focus on Europe following its annoucement of new manufacturing facilities in the continent.
The 44m working height ZA42J is joined by the 16m ZT14JE and the 50.6m working height ZT51JEH boom lifts, as well as a large spider lift, the 37m working height ZX37T.
Summing up its presence at the Bauma the company said, “The MEWPs industry is increasingly focused on sustainability and environmental friendliness, particularly in the European market, where strong regulations emphasize low-emission and energy-efficient machinery,” said the company.
In February the company announced it would be setting up €100 million production facilities in Europe. “Customers value equipment designed for local demands, such as compact, high-performance machines suitable for urban and environmentally sensitive areas.”
Zoomlion’s focus on big booms on its stand includes the ZA42J, which has a maximum outreach of 24.5m and heavy dual capacity of 275kg/454kg. There is also negative below ground level reach of 5.5m. The X-chassis offers a larger working range and better stability, while the machine can be transported in an open top container with the outriggers retracted. Multi-way valve control and pressure compensation function for precise and stable operation.
Hybrid solution
The near 51m working height hybrid ZT51JEH has a large lithium battery with a diesel extended range system for longer working time of up to seven days and to solve the problem where charging on site is difficult. It is the largest telescopic boom with a range extender in the company’s range and is complemented by a dual capacity 300/454kg.
The lightweight, polygon shaped boom provides rigidity. There is a low temperature adaptive power control to avoid thermal runaway, to provide greater battery safety and extending the lithium battery life by 10%.
The 37m ZX37T spider lift has an ultra-narrow width of 1.2m, and three load capacities of 120kg/230kg/330kg for various operations.
The platform is easily interchangeable to make it easy to access compact spaces. The diesel engine is combined with a plug-in work mode, along with symmetric boom, designed for structural rigidity, and small boom deflection. There is also a telescopic jib and non-marking rubber tracks suitable for all terrains.
Additionally, the company will introduce a brand-new series of telehandlers, including three non-rotating products, the 2,500kg capacity ZTH2506, 3,500kg capacity ZTH3507, and 4,000kg capacity ZTH4018, along with one rotating model, the 4,500kg capacity ZTH4525R.
Safety wise the company will introduce smart safety harness and helmet, as well as its online parts shop.
