Mollo Noleggio has expanded in Italy with the acquisition of general renter Tecnostrutture. No financial details of the transaction have been disclosed.

Headquartered in Fombio, Lombardy - south east of Milan - Tecnostrutture specialises in the rental of aerial platforms, earthmoving machinery and power.

It also provides training for the use of earthmoving equipment, MEWPs, cranes and forklifts.

The company operates a fleet that includes models from Manitou, Kubota, Takeuchi and Komatsu.

Tha purchase is the first Mollo has made in 2024, having added a number of companies to its portfolio last year, exceeding the number of depots it has across Italy to 50 in the process.

In December 2023 it announced the acquisition of Edilservice in Tuscany.

Mauro Mollo, president of the Mollo Group, said, “Mollo Noleggio wants to continue growing by acquiring specialised rental companies deeply rooted in their territory. We have known Tecnostrutture for many years and we are thrilled that it has become part of our Group. We expect great synergies from this union that will consolidate and strengthen Mollo Noleggio’s position in the rental market.

“I would like to extend a warm welcome to the members of the Tecnostrutture team. Mollo Noleggio is always delighted to welcome new collaborators with whom to share mutual skills and common ambitions to continuously improve the service we provide to our customers and achieve increasingly important milestones together.”
