Multitel Pagliero has agreed a partnership deal with India-based sales agent Nexa Global Infra Solutions (NGIS).
Established in Mumbai this year, NGIS is founded by access industry professional and mechanical engineer Anirban Ghosh, who for more than eleven years served as JLG’s regional manager for the Indian sub-content.
Ghosh, who has over 25 years of experience in the industrial sector and also currently represents the Platform Basket and Trackunit brands, will seek to expand Multitel’s reach in the equipment markets in India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh and Buthan., providing both sales and after-sales support for Multitel’s truck mounted platforms.
Roberto Marangoni, Global Marketing and International Sales Director Multitel Pagliero, said, “We have known Anirban for some time, as well as the excellent work he has done in the Gulf Cooperation Council region. We share an entrepreneurial vision and objectives with him and we are confident that his experience will enable us to penetrate a market that will be strategic for Multitel Pagliero.”
The deal between NGIS and Multitel was signed just a few days ago, with Ghosh traveling “to shake hands” with Multitel’s management team in Manta, Italy.
“During my recent visit to Manta and after seeing the entire production process - from raw materials to the final product - I firmly believe that with its more than 110 years of experience in industrial manufacturing and more than 50 years in the production of truck-mounted MEWPs, Multitel Pagliero will become very popular in the Indian rentals and end-users market,” said Ghosh.
“The Indian subcontinent, and India in particular, is witnessing strong momentum in all sectors: urban and high-speed rail, airport, energy, wind, chemical, petrochemical, steel and metal, construction, etc.
“This growth will continue and more and more projects see the use of truck-mounted MEWPs instead of conventional ones. In neighboring countries such as Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Bhutan we will choose our segment to provide customers with what they need and maximize the opportunities.”
