2022 return for UK’s Executive Hire Show
15 November 2021
It has been confirmed that the 15th edition of the Executive Hire Show (EHS) will take place at its usual venue in the UK, following a £7.5million renovation.
The rental equipment exhibition will run from the 9 to 10 February, 2022, at the Coventry Building Society Arena. Formerly known as the Ricoh Arena, the exhibition space has been converted into a “world-class” event pace and conference centre.
Located just 20 minutes from Birmingham and less than an hour away from London, the upgrades to the arena included the expansion of its main hall and the integration of digital audio, visual and connectivity technology.
With the venue’s upgrades now complete, the organisers of EHS have said the event will be “bigger and better” than before.
Roughly 130 exhibitors already signed up, visitor tickets for the 2022 rental event are now 85% sold out.
Chris Moore, Executive Hire Show, publishing and events director said, “We continue to receive regular stand enquiries with stands being booked every couple of days, So, once again we expect to achieve 100% stand sales for another sold-out Executive Hire Show.”
He added, “We are also delighted to report that, out of the 130 confirmed exhibitors, a staggering 28 of these will be making their Executive Hire Show debut, which is confirmation of the strength and the resilience of the hire industry. Also the confidence in the show to deliver.”
This year’s new exhibitors include Sany, which is among the 28 companies making their debut at the show.
The OEM is renewing its focus on the UK and Ireland markets and will use the event to showcase its products to equipment buyers.
Leigh Harris, business development director SANY UK & Ireland, said, “We are embarking on a new chapter with SANY in the UK & Ireland and have lots of exciting plans for 2022 and beyond.”
“A key objective for us is to show the quality of our products and dealer network and therefore, we have decided to attend our first-ever Executive Hire Show, as it will give us a great platform to meet with key decision-makers from the UK’s hire industry.”
While other notable attendees include renewable power specialist Dymac Global and Pinnacle Platforms - a new business and exclusive UK distributor for aerial platform manufacturer Sinoboom - the event will also see the return of some big industry names.
In addition to the return of MHM, which will have a stand that will be double the size of the one it had at the show in 2020, “JCB has chosen the Executive Hire Show as one of the very few tradeshows it will attend in Europe next year”.
Moore said, “We are honoured that JCB has committed to the EHS - for many of our visitors, the company’s slick showcase is an event in itself, so really is fabulous to be able to welcome them back.
