European Rental Awards deadline today

Today is deadline day for entries to the European Rental Awards.

Entry forms can be downloaded at the awards website - www.khl.com/rentalawards. The website also provides information on judging criteria and hotel information.

The awards – a joint venture between the European Rental Association (ERA) and International Rental News - will be presented at a special dinner in Paris on 15 May 2013, coinciding with the ERA’s annual convention.

The ERA holds it convention on 15-16 May at the Palais des Congrès de Paris venue, close to Porte Maillot in Paris. The awards dinner will take place at the adjoining Hotel Concorde La Fayette – the two venues are linked by an internal walkway.

The award categories are:

Large Rental Company of the Year (turnover over €15 million)

Small/Mid-sized Rental Company of the Year (turnover under €15 million)

Rental Product of the Year (for product launched during 2011)

Rental Person of the Year

In addition, the judging panel may present a Lifetime Achievement Award.

The awards are open to any company operating in Europe, and companies do not have to be members of ERA to enter. Companies should submit their own entry forms - you do not need to be nominated by another company or individual.

We remind companies that the awards are designed to recognize outstanding performance during 2012.

Murray Pollok, Editor, International Rental News (IRN)

The non-voting chairman of the judges will be Michel Petitjean, ERA secretary General.

The judges will meet on 12 March 2013 in Paris to determine the shortlisted companies and winners. The shortlists will be published online at www.khl.com shortly after that meeting.
