Construction equipment dealer Lister Wilder has completed a deal with UK rental company Rabbit & Dowling to supply a fleet of 5 and 8 tonne Kubota excavators.

Rabbit & Dowling offers equipment rental to the Worthing and Brighton area, and reported a significant increase in customer demand. As a result, the equipment deal will see Lister Wilder supply four Kubota KX080-4 8 tonne models and two U48-4 5 tonne mini excavators.

The KX (standard) and U Series (zero tail swing) excavators boast Kubota’s latest in house engine technology that not only meets current emission regulations, but also offers fuel efficiency, and minimal noise and vibration as standard.

Steve Charman, managing director of Rabbit & Dowling, said, “We have used Kubota’s mini-excavators for several years, but this is the first time we have ventured with their larger machinery due to a significant demand from the commercial market for 5 and 8 tonne machines.

“It was a simple choice to make as not only is the Kubota brand synonymous with performance and reliability, but also the efficiency and low running costs of its machinery are huge benefits to our customers. By working closely with Lister Wilder, we are now in a better position to meet the requirements of those customers.”
