Abstract submissions sought for compressor conference

International Conference on Compressors and their Systems set for London in 2025

The 14th International Conference on Compressors and their Systems will be organized by the Centre for Compressors Technology at City St George’s, University of London, Sept. 8-10, 2025. The conference is now open for abstract submissions. The deadline to submit abstracts Nov. 24.

This three-day conference is organized by the Centre for Compressor Technology at City St George’s. It provides a forum for developments in air, gas, and refrigeration compressors, vacuum pumps, and expanders. The programme this year will include keynote addresses, research and technical papers, podium papers, panel discussions, and industry lunch. This will provide a platform to identify current challenges and help shape future research.

Organizers are inviting papers related to all types of compressors, expanders, and their systems, including but not limited to: reciprocating, diaphragm, turbo, axial, scroll, screw, vane, rotary, and all other types of compressors and expanders.

The conference theme will be “Emerging Technologies in Compressors and their Systems.”

Papers are invited on a wide range of topics on compressors, expanders, pumps, and their systems, including but not limited to:

  • New industry trends, artificial intelligence, machine learning, digital twins, and internet of things, virtual reality, visualization, and visual analytics
  • Emerging technologies in design and manufacturing
  • Hydrogen technology
  • Safety and Environmental Impact
  • Energy efficiency towards Net Zero emissions
  • Heating and cooling demand integration
  • Sustainable power and heat
  • System Integration and Behaviour
  • Numerical and experimental modelling, analysis, and testing
  • Novel applications
  • Operation, Maintenance, and Reliability
