Algeco to offer turnkey handover electrical testing service

Algeco has expanded its 360 turnkey solutions segment with the addition of a post electrical handover service for its site accommodation range.

The modular and offsite building specialist says the sevice gives customers “peace of mind” that its Moduflex, CTX, Anti-Vandal and Anti Vandal+ units meets the requirements during the post-handover period.

The service, which includes an NSI certificate, provides Algeco customers with an electrical installation condition report that it says ensures units are safe for use. 

Once tests have been carried out, Algeco issues a NICEIC Condition Report via email within five working days for each unit tested, while any faults or observations can be discussed and fixed accordingly.

The company has also announced the addition of climate control to its turnkey solutions, which it says can reduce energy consumption within its customers site accommodation by up to 65%.

Algeco says the offering comes with extended functionality and heats and cools workplaces quicker while reducing the electrical load, allowing it to be used as an on- or off-grid set up. 

Elsewhere, the company has also expanded its turnkey solutions to include site WIFI, which allows customers to stay connected on construction sites with 5G broadband and large antenna added to the range.
