Argo-Hytos appoints new COO
20 November 2024
Hydraulic system solutions provider Argo-Hytos has announced that Markus Munz will assume the role of chief operating officer effective immediately. He succeeds Dr. Marcus Fischer, who took over as CEO of the Argo-Hytos Group in June 2024.
Munz brings to the position more than 27 years of experience in various leadership roles in production, logistics and procurement, and a background in manufacturing companies in the automotive and hydraulics industries. He said he looks forwarding to leading Argo-Hytos in its next phase of growth.
“Our customers and partners can rely on a dedicated team working together to continuously improve efficiency, competitiveness, and operational excellence,” Munz stated. “The focus will also be on optimizing processes and increasing customer satisfaction through flexibility and reliable performance.”
Stefan Schindler, who previously held the position of CMO for the Group, has left the company. Fischer will now take over the responsibilities of the CMO in addition to his CEO duties. According to Argo-Hytos, this consolidation of responsibility for strategy, marketing, sales and development under the CEO will allow the company to more quickly and efficiently turn market and technology trends and customer needs into new products.
“Our goal is to drive innovation and offer our customers added value in functionality, efficiency and economy in the further development of their machines and systems while always being at their side with the highest flexibility and implementation speed,” said Fischer. “By consistently focusing on market requirements, we strengthen our position as a reliable and forward-looking partner and remain competitive in the long term.”
