Cramo signs Finnish outsourcing agreement

Cramo Finland and Lemminkäinen Talo Oy Keski- ja Lounais-Suomi (Lemminkäinen) have signed a five year rental outsourcing agreement that will also see Cramo acquire Lemminkäinen's fleet and depots in Turku and Tampere.

Lemminkäinen Talo is the building construction division of the €2 billion, Helsinki-based Lemminkäinen construction group.

Tatu Hauhio, managing director of Cramo Finland, said; "The new agreement is a continuation of the agreement signed earlier this year with the Lemminkäinen Group, whereby Cramo acquired the entire construction machine fleet of Lemminkäinen Talo Oy Itä- ja Pohjois-Suomi and signed a similar agreement.

"The close co-operation with contractors has helped us to develop our services and our machine fleet to correspond even better to our customers' needs. The signed agreement strengthens also regionally our market position".

Markku Moisio, managing director of Lemminkäinen Talo Oy Keski- ja Lounais-Suomi, said; "This transaction and outsourcing agreement guarantees us a cost-effective use of modern equipment fleet in our construction projects also in the future.

"In addition to this, we will have a comprehensive range of construction site services available when required. The arrangement releases capital for our core business and enables development of our operations in co-operation with Cramo to benefit our customers".

Ten Lemminkäinen Talo employees will join Cramo as a result of the agreement.
