Described as providing “exceptional performance for a wide range of paving situations”, the DFP5X e, DFP8X e and DFP9X e are available in the 50kg, 80kg and 90kg weight class and are the electric versions of their petrol counterparts.

The DFP5X e has a compaction width of 300mm, while the DFP8X e and DFP9X e offers width of 430mm and 500mm respectively.

Both the DFP8X e and DFP9X e are powered by a Honda, 3 phase brushless DC motor, while the DFP5X e is powered by a 600w IPM motor. Each machine has a maximum working speed of 25 metres per minute.

According to Dynapac, the plates also offer reduced routine maintenance and service costs, easy charging and swappable battery unit and “good” operational efficiency with no idle time running with the easy start/stop function compared to comapred to the conventional machine.

As well as the new electric-powered vibratory plates, Dynapac has a fleet of an electric paver and electric tandem rollers as part of its fleet.
