ERA welcomes new members

ERA is very pleased to announce that the companies MCS Rental Software and FreeFalcon GmbH have joined ERA as associate members.

MCS Rental Software, https://www.mcsrentalsoftware.com/en/, is a UK based rental software provider.

MCS was created in 1983 by Richard van der Knaap, when he was asked to create a simple rental software program for a rental company that would automate some of their routine rental contracts and invoicing procedures. Once created, news of the solution quickly spread to other local rental companies.

In 2011, Guy van der Knaap, Richard’s son, took over the role of MD, determined to discover exciting new ways to innovate in the rental industry and to continue MCS’s growth.

Today, the company offers advanced rental software solutions called MCS-rm to a wide range of rental companies worldwide. Rental sectors covered include plant & tool hire, powered access hire, audio-visual hire and event hire.

UK customers include Sunbelt Rentals and Nixon Hire.

FreeFalcon GmbH, www.freefalcon.com, is an equipment manufacturer based in Germany, with a franchising branch in North Ireland. FreeFalcon provides a safety solution for construction sites since safety precautions currently in use on a construction site only partially fulfil the requirements regarding safety and ergonomics. They help their customers to reduce the risk of accidents and liability, without restricting the working person’s freedom of movement.

FreeFalcon provides products and training to every country in Europe.
