UK-based Eve has acquired event and industrial mobile tower lighting supplier, Brightlights.

Eve, which rents temporary roadways for construction, utilities and events, will integrate Brightlights into its UK-wide operation, offering its products as part of its rental portfolio.

The Brightlights product range includes a fleet of Ecolite and TL-90 tower lights. Ecolite can run for 180 hours on just one tank of diesel fuel. The TL-90 is a compact mobile light tower ideal for all temporary lighting tower applications.

Rick Barnett, managing director of Eve, said he was delighted with the acquisition; "It's a natural partnership as we both work within the same sectors and have shared values and ambition.

"By joining forces we'll not only be able to extend our service, but further improve the excellent reputation Brightlights has achieved in the industry."

The acquisition of Brightlights coincides with Eve's 45th year in business during which it has launched a number of new products, including Eve TuffTrak and the Event Panel.
