Falcon spider for Danish rental
11 November 2021
Danish rental company Liftservice has added a new 33-metre spider lift from manufacturer Falcon to its fleet.
The specialist access equipment provider invested in the diesel-powered 330Z Vario spider model, which features a 110-degree articulated jib and a four section telescopic boom.
A crawler mounted model, the undercarriage of the 330Z Vario can be extended from 1.1 to 1.5m for greater stability and to alllow easier access through narrow spaces.
Additionally, the model’s driving height of less than two metres makes it suitable for a range of applications, such as the church maintenance project Liftservice recently deployed it on.
Speaking of the machine’s performance on the project Erik Jacobsen, owner of Liftservice, said, “At the church we were met with the challenge of tight space and need for long reach - due to the low ground pressure and variable height of the tracks, maneuvering on the churchyard was possible…”.
According to Falcon, the 330Z Vario has a maximum platform capacity of 250kg - depending on the configueration of its outriggers and track secion - and offers up to “19 metres of outreach at an up and over height of 10 metres”.
It is fitted with a 3-cylinder diesel engine from Kubota, incorporates a 110V/220V AC power supply in the basket and allow operators to carry out all functions using a wireless remote control.
Brian Falck Schmidt, Falcon sales director, said, “We, at Falcon Lifts are very pleased with the relationship and the good cooperation that we have with Liftservice, and of course we are very pleased when customers are satisfied with our products and keep coming back. This is always the best recommendation a brand can get.”
