Global Rental Alliance strengthens collaboration in Lisbon

In the sidelines of the ERA Convention, held in Lisbon from 15 to 16 May 2024, the Global Rental Alliance (GRA) members convened for their physical annual meeting on the 17th of May.

This significant gathering saw the GRA members vote in favor of the inclusion of a new member, the Turkey Construction Equipment Distributions & Manufacturers Association (IMDER).

With this addition, the GRA now boasts nine members worldwide, all united in their mission to promote the equipment rental industry.

During this in-person meeting, another key topic discussed was the European Rental Week 2024, (https://europeanrentalweek.eu/), scheduled to take place from 14th to 20th October, and how to make it a global event that the members of the GRA could join.

The members expressed their strong commitment to actively participate in a Global Rental Week, which would be similar to the European Rental Week but at a worldwide level.

Their involvement will include promoting the rental industry through various social media platforms, thereby increasing visibility and engagement.

The members also emphasized their intention to continue collaborating on joint publications, as demonstrated by the success of the “Reasons to Rent” initiative.

The Global Rental Alliance aims to develop and launch more common projects in the future, enhancing the collective efforts to advocate for the rental industry’s benefits and innovations.

The GRA’s commitment to fostering international cooperation and knowledge sharing is pivotal for the advancement of the rental sector.
