H&E expands in North Carolina

US-based equipment rental company H&E Equipment Services has opened a new branch in Wilmington, North Carolina.

The branch, the 10th the company has opened in the state, will specialise in a range of equipment, including aerial lifts, earthmoving equipment, telescopic forklifts, compaction equipment, generators and light towers. 

Machines from the likes of Yanmar, Hamm, JCB, Bomag, Kubota and JLG will be available for hire at the new location, which also includes a repair shop and offices. 

District manager Justin Gnagy said the location will allow the company to deliver equipment quickly and efficiently and give it “greater reach along the Atlantic coastline, both north and into South Carolina, and covers the southeastern portion of the state below our existing Raleigh facility.”

Gnagy said, “Adding more fleet in this area allows us to supply customers in Wilmington and up to Elizabethtown, Lumberton, and New Bern, to name just a few cities well within our service area.

Founded in 1961, H&E Equipment Services has opened nine branches across the US since the beginning of June.
