HSS appointment to boost marketplace platform

HSS ProService, the service division of HSS Hire, has appointed David Weinberg as senior financial software engineer.

The company, which was created last year as part of a larger reorganisation of HSS Hire, said the appointment will support the growth of its marketplace platform.

Weinberg joins the company following 16 years with financial software firm Intuit, where he led the modernisation of the QuickBooks Online Indirect Tax capability.

He becomes the principal engineer for finance at HSS ProService, providing technical leadership and will lead a team of developers to “innovate and expand” on the existing marketplace platform. 

The service currently serves thousands of business customers across the UK buying and hiring tools and equipment.
