IRC conference confirmed for 2016
28 October 2015
The fourth International Rental Conference (IRC) will return to Shanghai in 2016, being held on Monday 21 November, the day before the start of the Bauma China exhibition.
Two speakers are already confirmed: Bill Whitehouse, national general manager of Kennards Hire – one of the most famous names in the worldwide rental industry – and Desmond Soh, managing director of JLG Asia. Other speakers will be announced soon.
IRC, which is organised by International Rental News and KHL Group, provides rental companies in China and wider Asia with information on best practice rental management and developments in China’s fast growing rental market.
Speakers at the first three events have come from companies including United Rentals, Loxam, Nikken, HSS Hire, Coates Hire, Shanghai Pangyuan, Horizon Equipment, Genie/Terex AWP and Hertz Equipment Rental Corp.
The event regularly attracts audiences of between 250 and 300, including many of China’s fastest growing rental businesses. The conference covers a wide range of rental sectors, including aerial platforms, earthmoving, cranes, site equipment and more.
The event is supported by the Machinery Management and Rental Division of the China Construction Industry Association (CCIA), and by IPAF.
Gold sponsor for the 2016 event is Genie/Terex AWP.
