Italian pair take multiple Multitels

A pair of Italian rental companies have upped their fleets with multiple truck mounts from Multitel Pagliero.

A distance of 160 kilometres separates Baschieri Noleggio and De Angelis Noleggi, which are based in San Giorgio in Piano, Bologna, and Pesaro, respectively.

Baschieri Noleggio was founded in 1998 and focuses its activity on lifting and earthmoving equipment, and more recently construction and landscaping equipment too, as well as trucks, vans and aerial platforms.

The company has more than 50 truck mounts in its fleet from 16m to 70m working height. Already the owner of an MX 250 articulated model and a SMX 170 crawler platform from Multitel Pagliero, the company recently took delivery of two MX 210 articulated and two MTE 270EX telescopic platforms.

They are equipped with the company’s MUSA (Multitel Self Adapting outreach) system for calculating and limiting outreach, maximising the working area depending on the chosen stabilisation configuration.

Just over an hour’s drive away is De Angelis Noleggi. Founded in 1951 by Bruno De Angelis, it started as a freight transport business. His two sons Gilberto and Marco expanded the services with the hire of cranes, crane trucks and vehicles for the transport of heavy loads in the construction and industrial sectors.

The company’s range of aerial platforms is also extensive, with truck mounted platforms up to 46m in height offered throughout central Italy, and rental without an operator between Fano, Pesaro and Cattolica.

The fleet of 40 units includes eight Multitel Pagliero machines, with two new acquisitions: the MX 196 articulated platform, with a side mounted cage, provides better access over flat surfaces, and the MZ 250 with an articulated jib, allows negative working down to -2.5m.
