Kennards completes two acquisitions in Victoria

Australian rental company Kennards Hire has completed the acquisitions of Victoria-based businesses East Gippsland Hire (EGH) and Riviera Hire. No financial details of the deal have been confirmed.

Kennards said that following the deals, which expands its footprint in the state to 39, both companies will work from one branch in Bairnsdale.

It added that it reinforces its commitment to serving local communities with their DIY and construction needs, with customers benefitting from “increased access to access and earthmoving equipment.”

Kennards Hire area manager Jake Crawford said the prchases represented the significance of its expansion into Bairnsdale; “We’re excited to be able to support the Bairnsdale community with their DIY and construction projects.

“Building on our recent moves into Morwell and Ballarat, and by tapping into the local knowledge and expertise from the East Gippsland Hire and Riviera Hire staff members who have now joined our family, we can comfortably say that no matter where you live in Gippsland, we’ve got you covered.”
