Kiloutou acquires Spanish rental company Diaz-Miquelez

Kiloutou has acquired Spanish general equipment rental group Diaz-Miquelez from its current owners Juan Diaz and Jorge Miquelez.

The deal will reinforce Kiloutou’s network in the northern part of the country, with a key presence in La Rioja region.

Diaz-Miquelez Group joins Kiloutou Spain ‘s network of 20 branches and 186 employees; and will adopt Kiloutou Spain branding in the coming months.

The acquisition follows Kiloutou’s acquisition of four companies in Spain since 2015.

Diaz-Miquelez has been operating since 1993 and is a prominent general equipment and scaffolding rental business in the city of Logrono, in La Rioja.

It operates four branches and depots around the city and has 35 employees operating around 900 pieces of rental equipment. Its offering includes bespoke services on large scaffolding projects, as well as a range of equipment and via direct delivery or pick-up services at local shops.

Kiloutou Group has undertaken similar moves to expand its presence in other markets including Poland, Italy and Germany in recent years.
