Chinese-based OEM LiuGong held an event in Jiangyin City, Jiangsu Province, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the company’s road equipment and launch seven new road equipment machines.
In August 2000 LiuGong acquired Jiangyin Liugong Road Machinery Co., Ltd. This acquisition, reported to be the first cross-regional Chinese construction machinery industry merger, saw LiuGong produce road equipment for the first time.
Liugong Road Machinery has since independently developed a full range of three series of products: rollers, pavers, and milling machines, which are sold in more than 100 countries and regions around the world
Seven brand new road machines made their debut at the event, including the 516 multi-functional paver, with a maximum paving width of 16m, the M100E next generation and environmentally-friendly smart cold planer and the 6626E hydraulic single-drum roller with autonomous driving technology.
According to LiuGong, there were audiences and customers from 28 countries and regions participating in the live event. Confirmed orders reported to be worth around a million dollars were placed following the event.
From January to August, LiuGong road equipment realised a year-on-year overseas sales increase of 12.6%, ranking second in the export of Chinese brands.
