MHM launches eco sub-brand

20 January 2022

UK company, MHM Group, which specialises in equipment including solar hybrid generators and lighting towers,  has launched a new brand, ‘MHM Eco’ as part of a commitment to be carbon neutral by 2030.

MHM Group Managing Director Mat Llewellyn.

MHM Group Managing Director Mat Llewellyn said: “The launch of our MHM Eco brand will support the team’s efforts to ensure that both our new equipment for sale and our hire fleet becomes yet more sustainable, and means that we can offer greater solutions to the hire and construction sectors on eliminating harmful carbon emissions.”

MHM Group’s diesel-powered machinery, including generators and lighting towers, are now compatible with HVO fuel made from 100% renewable raw materials, which can reduce CO₂ emissions by up to 90% compared to fossil-fuel diesel.

“The MHM Group will continue to advise businesses within the construction and plant industries to consider switching to HVO fuel as a greener, more sustainable alternative,” said Llewellyn.

“We are also investing heavily in other renewables, such as solar and battery hybrid machines, as part of our comprehensive approach to a sustainable future and to being carbon neutral by 2030.”

MHM confirmed it will add three low emission products to its offering this year under the MHM Eco brand; details of the products will be released soon.

The company will promote MHM Eco at events including the Executive Hire Show from 9 to 10 February at the Coventry Building Society Arena, UK, where it will showcase MHM Eco on a separate dedicated stand.
