New telehandlers from Dieci
08 April 2019
Two vehicles in the new construction range from Italian telehandler manufacturer Dieci – the Icarus 50.18 GD and the Dedalus 30.9 GD – are on show at Bauma 2019.
The company is also showcasing models from its construction range including the Hercules 210, the Pegasus 45.30 and 40.18, the Pivot T60, the L4700 truck mixer, the 8000 dumper and the Apollo 26.
The new additions feature the new GD cabin which has already been adopted on models in the company’s new agricultural range. Dieci said they offered comfort unmatched by other construction vehicles, and that the machines were simple use, with “exceptional versatility and reliability, high level of safety, and low maintenance requirements”.
It said the simplicity and intuitive use stemmed from the in-cab ergonomics, the balanced distribution of instruments and control systems, and the efficiency and simplicity of the controls and safety systems. The switches are backlit and an adjustable armrest is adopted for the new joystick with forward/reverse selector (FNR shuttle), which is said to ensure more precise, comfortable and intuitive control over the direction of travel.
It claimed that the fully-integrated electronic control system was an exclusive Dieci feature. The CANBUS system is said to establish optimal work and safety parameters by means of in-depth diagnostics, with data displayed in real time on a new 7in (178mm) LCD display.
The models can also be fitted with an automatic equipment recognition system, which automatically reconfigures the vehicle depending on which equipment is installed.
