Oshkosh completes Ausa acquisition

Oshkosh Corporation, owner of MEWP and telehandler manufacturer JLG, has completed the acquisition of Ausa.

Based near Barcelona, Spain, Ausa is a manufacturer of telehandlers, dumpers and forklifts.

Oshkosh, which first announced its intentions to buy Ausa in May, said the deal accelerates its growth strategy and strengthens the JLG equipment portfolio.

It added that the deal will “will enhance JLG’s line of telehandlers and complement its line of tracked dumpers and forklifts” that it acquired through its purchase of Hinowa in 2023.

Mahesh Narang, president, JLG, said, “Ausa’s culture of innovation and quality matches the same standards we hold and our shared core values around safety, productivity and sustainability position us well for the future. Together, we will work diligently, as both companies always have, to meet the needs of our customers.

“Our combined capabilities, market leadership positions and complementary product offerings provide a more comprehensive solution to address market needs, expand our operational footprint and unlock growth opportunities worldwide. The acquisitions of Ausa and Hinowa help JLG create an organisation that can better serve customers globally.”
