Energy storage supplier expands rapidly in 2024

Mobile battery energy storage specialist POWR2 has announced it expanded its operations to 21 countries in 2024.

It said that its POWRBANK battery energy storage system (BESS) was used across multiple industries, including construction, equipment rental, events, and disaster relief.

Additionally, 2024 saw the company partner with several companies to distribute its portable power solutions to support the deployment of battery energy storage systems in various regions.

This includes Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands with Powershift Technologies, Ireland with Armorum Limited and France with GeniWatt and Eiffage Construction.

In the Middle East, the company partnered with Altaaqa Alternative Solutions, while in Asia it signed a deal with rental company Nishio Rent-All.

Meanwhile, POWR2 introduced ADVANTAGE, an energy management system designed to optimise the performance of its POWRBANK systems and reduce operational costs.

Additionally, the company increased production of the POWRBANK MAX, a 250kVA+ battery energy storage system intended for large-scale applications in industries such as mining, construction, and chemical refining.

As well as product development, POWR2 launched a podcast, Leading the Charge, which discusses developments in the renewable energy sector and  provides insights into energy trends and related topics for industry professionals.

Looking ahead, POWR2 said it will continue to expand its presence in international markets and “develop energy solutions for industries seeking to transition to cleaner energy sources.”
