Founded in 1997, BMR provides general rental equipment, including excavators, haul trucks and garden tools to residential contractors, homeowners, and commercial contractors from two locations in Alpine and Pinedale.

The acquisition is REIC’s fifth since it was purchased by investment firm Kinderhook Industries and its 17th since it was founded.

Kevin Fitzgerald, CEO of REIC, said BMR is an “an excellent, well-run company” with a “strong rental business that plugs into our existing geographic footprint for our General Rental Division.”

Fitzgerald said, “The addition of these two BMR locations in Wyoming further enhances our presence in the Wyoming/Idaho area and will enable us to better serve our customers with additional equipment and service.”

Justin Sandner, president, and co-owner of BMR, added, “We are thrilled to be partnering with REIC. Both companies have very similar corporate cultures and through this new partnership, BMR, its customers, and employees will all benefit greatly.”

According to Paul Cifelli, managing director of Kinderhook, the acquisition of BMR is “highly strategic” as the company looks to “continue its track record as a partner of choice in the ongoing equipment rental industry consolidation.”

Following its latest purchase, REIC now operates from 45 locations in the US, as well as five locations in Canada. Nate Druckenmiller, vice president of Kinderhook, which acquired REIC at the beginning of 2022, said it would continue to support further growth strategy for REIC in the future.
