Renta Group acquires pumping specialist

Renta Group has acquired Finland-based specialised pumping business Ohiko. No details of the transaction have been disclosed.

Headquartered in Tuusula, Ohiko provides full-service bypass solutions throughout Finland. It generates annual revenues of more than €2 million and employs seven members of staff.

Renta said the purchase, which follows the previous acquisition of Uprent in 2022, will allow it to develop and grow in the pump market in Finland and extend its pump coverage beyond Poland and the Baltics. 

Describing the company as “an excellent fit” for its pumping segment, Renta said it sees significant potential in Ohiko by further scaling the operations and leveraging the complementary expertise of Ohiko and Renta’s pumping business.
