Tesya rebrands its rental divisions

Italy-based Caterpillar dealer Tesya Group has rebranded companies within its rental division, the company has announced.

The move will see Italian business CGTE, Spanish business Finanzauto Rental and Portuguese business Emerent become know as Alayan.

Vincent Albasini, who joined the company from Avesco Rent last year, will lead Alayan as CEO. 

Speaking to IRN at its offcial unveiling in Milan, Albasini said the move will allow the company to consolidate its rental activities and strengthen brand recognition across the board.

He said, “Our commitment to the future translates into continuous investment in people training, technology, and fleet modernisation, with the aim of providing cutting-edge equipment featuring high-quality standards as well as delivering excellence in support services.“

Seperately, he said that the company is targeting further growth with the move, and expects revenues this year to be around the €220-€250 million mark. 

He also said the company is looking to move into the Balkan market, where Tesya is already a dealer for Caterpillar, adding that it see’s great potential for growth in southern Europe. 

When asked by IRN if the company expected to make further announcements on that soon, he said more news on expansion in that region could be expected in 2025.

The company has also announced that it will invest €100 million in its fleet this year, and expects to open seven or eight branches between Italy, Spain and Portugal this year.

Upon the unveiling of the new branding, Lino Tedeschi, president and CEO of Tesya Group, said the move would enable the company to become closer to its customers on a regional level.

Pierre-Nicola Fovini, general manager of Tesya Group and chairman of Alayan, added, “Our goal is to become a comprehensive, multi-specialist service provider, capable of offering consultancy and integrated solutions that go beyond simply supplying modern, digital machinery.“
