Trime opens Asia Pacific division

02 November 2021

Lighting tower and generator business The Trime Group has formed an Asia Pacific division to meet growing demand for Trime products in Australia and New Zealand.

Trime Asia Pacific will market the complete Trime range of equipment throughout Australia and New Zealand, as well as supporting Trime’s existing dealers in the region.

Operating out of Perth, Western Australia, it will be managed by Peter Breen, whose track record encompasses the construction machinery markets and site lighting, a core Trime product.

Prior to taking up his role at Trime, Breen was a Territory Sales Manager - Australia, Africa, Asia Pacific - for Raycore Lights USA. He has also held senior positions at AllightSykes and Allight in the Africa and Australia markets respectively.

Italy headquartered Trime said the move was a response to growing demand for equipment in the construction, rental and mining markets operating in Australasia.

The company said its research had uncovered “significant interest” in its fossil-fuel free T-ZERO PRO range of solar and hybrid lighting towers and generators in the Asia Pacific region.

“With environmental issues at the forefront, Trime is taking a leading role in the development of fossil-fuel free equipment,” it said, adding that it was experiencing “multiplying growth of solar and hybrid lighting towers and generators, particularly in the US and Europe.”

The formation of Trime Asia Pacific is part of the group’s wider strategy to drive further growth in East Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia and Oceania as well as South Africa.

It follows Trime’s recent joint acquisition with generator manufacturer Bruno Generators Group (BGG) of their US distributor FTG Equipment Solutions.
