Trime shortlisted for Hire Supplier of the Year award

Trime UK has been selected as a finalist in two categories at the Hire Awards of Excellence 2025.

The lighting tower and genset specialist has been nominated for Hire Supplier of the Year and its X-ECO Hybrid Lithium lighting tower has been shortlisted for Hire Product of the Year.

The X-ECO Hybrid Lithium lighting tower features lithium battery technology that can be fully recharged in under three hours.

For 80% of a typical 10-hour operation, the tower runs on battery power, providing zero noise and zero carbon emissions.

Trime UK has been supplying the UK and Ireland hire markets since its inception in 2016. The hire markets make up around 85% of their turnover, it said.

Paul Hay, managing director of Trime UK, said, “We are pleased to have the X-ECO Hybrid Lithium selected as a finalist. This recognition reflects our focus on developing sustainable products for the hire industry.”

The Hire Awards of Excellence, organised by the Hire Association Europe (HAE), recognise achievements in the UK’s plant, tool, equipment, and event hire industries.

The winners of the Hire Awards of Excellence will be announced on Saturday, 12th April 2025, at an event at Grosvenor House, London.
